Join us on Friday, February 12, 2021, and start your Valentine’s Day weekend off right with a Wine+Chocolate Tasting Class at Raleigh Wine Bar and Eatery.
An all-star tasting group – master chocolatier Samantha Brown, Raleigh’s owner and Wine & Spirit Educational Trust graduate Nimi Idnani, and certified sommelier Justin Corriss – will lead you through the nuances of four wine and chocolate pairings, talking about why they work together and why other pairings might not. We’ll talk about how we go about pairing wines and chocolates (and maybe other spirits, too), and how you can do that, too.
The evening will be capped by a special dessert prepared by Raleigh’s executive chef, using La Cascade du Chocolate’s own 77% single origin Tanzanian dark chocolate, made by LCDC co-owner and chocolate maker Andy Brown.
Tasting will go from 7:30pm-9:30pm and be in both of Raleigh’s dining rooms to ensure good social distancing.
